Nintendo of America announced today that the highly anticipated Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Nintendo Wii System will be delayed again. This is the 2nd time in the last 4 months that Nintendo has pushed back the release date of this much expected game. The game was first set to release in December 2007 then pushed back to February 10, 2008 has a new "unofficial" release date of March 9, 2008.
"The launch date for Super Smash Bros. Brawl has shifted a few weeks to March 9," a Nintendo spokesperson stated. "The development is taking slightly longer than expected. As we're sure you have seen on the Dojo site (www.SmashBros.com), the game contains an unprecedented number of characters, options and experiences. Be sure to keep an eye on the Dojo site for the latest information."
