Rock Band will be in Short Supply

EA CEO John Riccitiello commented recently that the highly anticipated music game Rock Band will be in short supply for the holidays. He said that even though they've got "a lot of inventory," he's not anticipating EA/MTV being able to meet demand here or in Europe this calendar year or even this fiscal year through March. The game, which retails for $169 on Xbox 360 and PS3 (it ships on PS2 for $159 in Dec.), is "one hot product", said Riccitiello. He advised consumers that unless they "wait in line outside their favorite retailer" on November 19, they're going to have a very hard time finding the game this holiday season.

Be certain that www.videogame-king.com will have some. :)

Call of Duty 4

Modern Warfare
-(Wiki) involves the widespread use of highly advanced technology. As a term, it is generally associated with technologically advanced weaponry and tactics.

Just when you thought gaming innovation was stagnant, Infinity Ward/Activision re-creates their WWII best selling game into a tactical menace that will pull many gamers from Halo 3.

Yes I said it. This game will pull gamers AWAY from Halo 3. This game delivers the most intense tactical shooting game to date. For the first time in the series, Call of Duty moves away from the WWII era that brought it much success to the modern battlefield. Armed with an arsenal of advanced and powerful modern day firepower, players are transported to treacherous hotspots around the globe to defeat enemy rogue groups threatening the world. As both a U.S Marine and British S.A.S. soldier fighting through an unfolding story full of twists and turns, players use sophisticated technology, superior firepower and coordinated land and air strikes on a battlefront where speed, accuracy and communication are critical to your squad's success. The epic title also delivers an added depth of multiplayer action providing online fans an all-new community of persistence, addictive and customizable gameplay.

We rate this game a 9.8 crowns out of 10.
